ABOUT SANJI (Warning: Spoilers!)

Sanji is a character from the highly popular manga/anime 'One Piece'. Sanji is a lot: a fighter, a cook, an artist and a lover. Back in the early days of the Straw Hat pirates, the crew conssisted of nothing more then a captain, a swordsman, a navigator and a marksman. In search for a cook to add to the crew, the Straw Hats came along the floating restaurant the 'Baratie'. On the Baratie, Luffy came across Sanji, and was eager to offer him a place in his crew. Sanji refusing the offer at first, later came to a change of heart after Don Krieg and his armada attacked the Baratie. His mentor Zeff encouraged him to go and chase his dream: To find All Blue, a beautifull sea where all the fish in the world gather. Sanji traveled along with the Straw Hats and often saved the crew (or members) by using his increddible strenght, as well as his clever tactics. Usually, Sanji takes down the stronger foes, along with Zoro and Luffy. Sanji helepd the crew greatly through their adventures in Skypiea and in the act of freeing Nico Robin from the CP9. After the crew was defeated by the hands of Kuma, Sanji was sadly sent to the kamabakka Kingdom, where he encountered his greatest fear: Okama's (roughly translated as 'cross-dressers'). He spend 2 years running away from these people, while trying to get his hands on the various recipes for 'Attack Cuisine'. After the 2 years had passed, Sanji returned to the Saboady Archipelo to meet up with his beloved crew again. He was seen taking out a Pacifista (Kuma-android) together with Zoro easily, a testament of their improved strenght. After causing a lock of ruckus, Sanji and his reunited crew finally took off towards new adventures behind the horizon. ------------------------SPOILERS END------------------------------ In battle, Sanji can be crushing and unforgiving, he also has the bad habit of trash-talking a lot. But underneath his tough shell lies a lover that will melt away at the sight of a beautifull woman. Because of his strict lessons, Sanji refuses to kick woman, even if it kills him, but he has absolutely no problem with crushing the heads of men. It should be noted that Sanji is more then just brawn, as his sharp wit and tactical manouvres saved his life (and the lives of his crew) more then once! Sanji will also defeat anyone who shows disrespect to food (unless the said person is female, then Sanji will be heartbroken)

PLAYSTYLE

Sanji's playstyle resolves around quick hits and powerfull finishers, as is his fighting style from the manga. Sanji's tilts may not deal much damage, but if you can combo them up, it can eventually lead you to victory. Most of Sanji's specials are designed to give the finishing hit of a tilt-based combo, so use them well, try to corner your opponents and then finish them off. Sanji's weakness is the fact that he has no projectile, or any way to deal with them (you could try to Brochette you out of it, but running and closing in seems like a better option), so try to keep your opponent at kicking range. Playing as Sanji probably won't cost much time to learn, but if you can pull of some cool combos with him, I'm just he'll be a pleasure to play as.

-Single powerfull kick that multi hits opponents, and pushes them away when the attack ends.
Good for the finishing blow.

(NOTE: When used in the air, it disables movement while attacking, like Falcon Punch)
Side Special: Concassé.




-Jumps forward and delivers a die-hard kick to the face. Mega-meteor smash and buries opponent deep into the ground. This special is the most effective in the air, although it comes with dangers: It leaves Sanji helpless, so try to make sure you can fall back on the stage if you try to silence your opponents with this.
Up Special: Épaule Shoot




A quick kick upwards and then a meteor smash to end the attack. The heigh is travels is nothing to write home about, but it is a satisfying finisher for air combos, although not very reliable, since it can be escaped.

(NOTE: Sanji continues to rise uopwards 'till the seventh frame)
(NOTE: The meteor Smash does not require extra imput of any button)
(NOTE: The meteor part does not cause Sanji to fall downwards, rather, he stalls in the air)
Down Special: Brochette




-Think of this attack like Zamus' downspecial in Brawl. Only Sanji travels less far and delivers a kick without the need of an additional hit of the attack button.
It can get you out of though situations, but it's not very effective.

This is amazing, I remember your original Sanji expansion, are you making Luffy aswell? And on another note, I though animations had to be facing right, not left

but, can you try to remove the backrounds?

I can see him fine in the one where there's no backround.

Backrounds are an inconveinience to the devs, I think.

I don't actually know the real reason. I just know you shouldn't have them.

Having the animations transparent allow the devs to quickly put the animations in to the game, without having to transparentize every frame of the animation
