Is the moveset still the same? |
Well, I could try to do that, but I'd have to... hm, what's a good word... modernize the animations, like make them look more smash worthy. For example, my idea for Forward Smash was from... DK Land 3, I believe? Where he shot electricity from a remote, and it would work like Black Mage's. In DKL3, he just points with a remote and it shoots, iirc. In the animation, I plan on having him hold his finger above the remote while charging, and then press down and shoot in an elaborate motion.
I know, long, rambly, confusing example, but my main point is that most of his appearences were really old, and the original motions wouldn't be acceptable for a SSF2 expansion, especially in this style. So, that method won't be entirely helpful.
And yes, the moveset is still the same.
@CMill, thanks. |

It's good. You plan on using that for the K Rool expansion? |
Yerp.
I think I'm gonna make him much higher in my priorities; after all, he did win my expansion poll, and I was very inspired by SSF2 DK.
Although, it'd be so much long work, customing "from the ground up." I'd be surprised if I could get four animations done over the course of the first month. |
It would indeed take a while. But I know you can do it, man. |

Have you seen DK in SSF2? If anything, this sprite is a bit too bright. |

| Is the O'Chunks sprite custom too? Also do you use a pixel/sprite application or is this just pure talent? |

1. Yes, 100%. 2. Uh, both? I use Paint, which is a sprite application, and it requires talent. |

| UPDATED FINALLY: Added a JUS Gambit (X-Men). I think it's my first decent JUS sprite. Everything else I try to make turns out terrible. How is it? It's based off of his design in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. |

Well see, that's the biggest problem.
I want classic Gambit. So get on that.
Because right now it just looks like the guy from the Monkey Island games with a coat and a rod. |

| Well, I tried to make it look more classic, on the right: Don't know if it's any good, because I just based it off of a reference picture, no prior experience.
