The main enemy of Yoshi, Shyguy joins SSF2!
This was a group project, consisting of Reiforce, Gamma (Mr. Γ) and myself.

Special Thanks to:
Bob Mowzie for flash effects and finding some sound effects.
Thomas_Terminator for providing a damage meter and an ice hit.
Kiddragon for making a FS trophy.
Bobby for Making a Hurt 2.

Basic combo
Combo- (can be held infinitely. Loop frames where seeds are shot out for a continuous combo.) (credit to Reiforce)
Neutral Special: Snifit Mask
Shyguy Fires a shot with his snifit mask.
Does about 10-15% damage and lowish-medium knockback.
Moves at the same speed as megaman's buster.

Use: (He stands on his toes, fires, and slides backwards a few pixels.)
Bullet:
Needs an explosion effect.
Air
Air-

Side Special: Electric Shock
Shyguy summons a lightning shock that travels forward.
as you can see, there's a lot of lag in this. To make up for it, the projectile is very fast, medium-high damage and medium knockback, and if he is somehow able to hit an opponent with the tip of his spear, it does INSANE knockback, mainly because it has such a small range.
Also, to represent how in Mario Power Tennis he used it to hit the ball back, if he can time it perfectly (very difficult of course), he can reflect projectiles that become even stronger and combined with the electric projectile.

Same as above.
Up Special: Propeller
Shyguy flies upward for about four seconds, kind of like megaman's up special. If an opponent touches his propeller, They suffer minor damage in multiple hits, like Tail's up Special.
Each hit of the propeller does 2% damage and very low knockback.
Startup-
Use- (speed up a bit)
End-
Air
Same as ground.
Down Special: Mufti Guy
Shyguy hides in a flowery bush for about a second. If he is damaged within this time, the effect is countered, like marth's down special.
Does about 10% damage, and does high knockback.
Use-
Counter- (have him move forwards)

Aerial Down Special: Shyster Bounce
It's a "stall and fall" attack. (credit to Reiforce)

Forward Smash
Smash- (credit to Reiforce.)

Up Smash
Smash-
Bullet Bill:
(The bullet should keep going upwards and get progressively weaker.)

Down Smash-
Smash- Make 5 swords appear above Shy Guy. The follow his arm movements. (credit to Reiforce and Krazeh.)

Neutral air- Hold Frame 3. Make 4 of these appear in the X directions. (credit to Reiforce and Krazeh.)
Up air- (Credit to Reiforce.)
Shyguy moves upwards, for a distance equivalent to one of his jumps. He can only use this attack in the air once, though. Once he lands, he can use it again. Also, If an opponent touches his head while he's traveling upwards, they receive damage. Shyguy also does not receive knockback from attacks if he is using this, like Yoshi's Double Jump.
Also, the fire does damage, if you can manage to hit an opponent with it.

Forward air- (Needs a motion blur effect.) (Credit to Reiforce.)
Meteor Smash!
Back air- (Credit to Reiforce.)
Shyguy flies back for about a second, damaging anyone who touches his propeller.
Down air-
Hold frame 3 for when he's dropping. Think Thwomp.
Aeriel Lands-
Crouch- (hold last frame)
Down tilt- Use: Bob-Omb:
He places a bob-omb on the ground, and it runs forward. It explodes after a few seconds, or if it hits an opponent.
Does damage and knockback equivalent to Link's bombs.
(Credit to Reiforce for the down tilt, Credit to Gamma for the Bob-omb.)
Needs an explosion effect.

Up tilt- (Does High Knockback.) (Credit to Reiforce.)
Forward tilt- (Have him slide forward.)
Dash attack- (credit to Gamma.)
Grab miss- (Credit to Gamma.)
Grab- (credit to Gamma.)
Pummel- (credit to Reiforce.)
Foward throw- (credit to Gamma.)
Up throw- (credit to Gamma.)
Back throw- (credit to Gamma.)
Down throw- Projectile:
He outs the opponent below him, charges, and then hits the opponent with the energy. (credit to Gamma.)

~Final Smash~
Shyguy flies up to the top of the screen using this animation: (speed up a bit)
After he flies up, A bunch of Shyguys willl swarm in from the left of the screen.
Shyguys that fly or float come in ABOVE the ones that run.
*note: Normal Shyguy run behind the rest at the end, and will trip and fall right where he was when he used the Final Smash. (I have yet to make an animation for this.)


General Guy: (He comes in before the others. He also throws bombs and is guaranteed to appear. He does higher damage, but moves at the same speed.) (Credit to Reiforce.)
Anti Guy: (Should do much higher damage, but normal speed. Also Guaranteed to appear.) (Credit to Reiforce.)
Green Shyguy: Does 10% Damage per hit and minor knockback. This applies for anyone labeled "base".
Blue Shyguy: Base.
8-bit Shyguy: Base.
8-bit Snifit: Base.
Leafguy: Flies in a straight line in the air, doing 10% damage and minor knockback. This applies to anyone labeled "Air Base."
Bandit:
(Credit to Gamma.) Faster than average.
Snifit Running: Base, but shoots.
Snifit stopping and shooting:
Projectile for Snifit:
Green Glove: (credit to Gamma.) Base.
Slugger: (credit to Gamma.) Base.
Barbecue Guy: (credit to Gamma.) Slower, but does heavy fire damage.
Blowtorch Guy: (credit to Gamma.) Fire damage.
Boo Guy: (credit to Gamma.) Air Base.
Boom Guy: (credit to Gamma.) 15% damage and higher knockback.
Chuck Guy: (credit to Gamma.) 15% damage and higher knockback.
Dark Fawful Guy: (credit to Gamma.) Base.
Elite Boom Guy: (credit to Gamma.) 20% damage and even more knockback.
Fat Guy: (credit to Gamma.) Slower, but 20% damage and knockback.

Glum Reaper: (credit to Gamma.) 15% damage Air.

Tube Guy. Slides very quickly across the ground.

White Shy Guy. Base.
Medi Guy. Heals 5% damage, but heavy knockback.
Mini Shy Guy. Should be shrunken to 75%. 7% damage.
Mufti Guy. Base.
Mummy Guy. Base.
Pirate Guy. Base.
Polterguy. Should be transparent. Air Base.
Pyro Guy. Fast, and fire damage.
Rocket Guy. Air Base. Causes fire damage.
Shy Guy Ghost. Air Base.
Shy Ranger. 2X as fast, with 30% damage and very high knockback.
Shyper. Bounces. Deals 20% damage, and constantly throws a Sword Rain sword, doing 10%.
Shyster. Bounces. Deals 15% damage.
Sky Guy. Slow Air Base.
Sleeping Spear Guy. 15% damage and higher knockback.
Spear Guy. 15% damage and higher knockback.
Sling Shy. Base, but fires. His projectiles deal 20% damage and low knockback.
Snow Guy. Base, but fires.
Captain Shy Guy. Base.
Fly Guy. Air Base.
Flying Shy Guy. Rapid damage Air Base.
Gourmet Guy. Slower, but 20% damage and knockback.
Jetpack Guys. Air Base.
Sergeant Guy. 20% damage and higher knockback.
Beezo: Air Base.
Groove Guy. Base.
Kart Guy. 1.5X faster, and 15% damage and higher knockback.
Ostro Rider. 1.5X faster, and 10% damage.
Paper Guy: Base, but bigger.
Glide Guy: Air Base, but falls diagonally toward the stage. When he reaches the stage, he goes diagonally upward very fast.
Bullet Rider. Air, but much faster and deals 20% damage.

Portal Guy: Base.

Flies. If he hits, he does 30% Ice damage and very high knockback.

Good job so far, but the jump is not particularly good. It needs a few more frames IMO.

Yeah, I'm still working on a few animations that need to be re-vamped.

Alright, corrections... ~

-Idle : Try to make him move a bit more, and blink less. He could skip from one leg to the other, or just move his arms a bit, with some movement on the pointy part of his hood.

-Walk : It's alright, I guess.

-Run He should have a cartoony run, like the one he has in Paper Mario when he has a stolen good on his head.

-Jump : Is WAAAY too jumpy, and lack actual "going thought the air" part. Make the pointy part of his hodd go ddown, and move a bit in the wind. and make the jump smoother.

-Falling : It lacks the transition from jump, as well as some movement when he's falling.

-Land : Seems decent, but could use a better thing then just cutting of a row of pixels.

-D-Special : Lacks an appearing/dissapearing effect, and the counter part, but I think you were planning to add it later, right?

-G&W Ball : Wouldn't it be better if it was only the mask?

-Trophies : Seem fine to me

-Music : The Win theme seems a TAD too long. Maybe you could use Yoshi's one in SSBB? And the Main theme is totally fitting. Very nice choice on this.

Personal Opinion : Wouldn't his Final Smash be better if it was General Guy's Car from Paper Mario?

Maybe you should put Phanto somewhere in the moveset.

And you should Brawlify. You could probably pull off recoloring this with the colors of the red Bandit in Bandit's FS. And normal Bandit's colors for the shoes.

I actually plan on putting as many types of shyguys into the moveset as possible. ^^
As for brawlifying the sprites, I could work on that when I'm re-vamping some of the animations. Thanks for letting me use your palette. Also, didja notice how I stole bandit's win theme?

Can you explain the Down Special in more detail?
I don't think hitting a bush would actually do anything.
