Because doing something new for the franchise is a clear indicator that their running out of idea.
I would write a huge rant about how people who say "Gamefreak is running out of ideas" are morons, but I'm just too tired to do that right now.
Also, after watching the trailer, I don't think that's the new professor. I think it's the new villain, although I could be wrong. He looks a little too pedo to me.

Because 'Pokemon Generations' is obviously a great idea. Not to mention completely original. I mean it's not like other people have had that idea cross their minds at all.
And of course the people that worked on that are completely responsible and not stupid in any way, shape and/or form.

I'm personally quite hyped for this, because I actually love Pokemon and enjoy it in every way. I don't care about what they do with new areas or new Pokemon. If anything, it's even cooler how they throw in even more content. And if you dislike gen 4 onwards because they have terrible or simple designs (which I do not agree with, because I love gen 3 to 5, obviously not a Kanto/Johto fag, but I'm fine with those gens too) then that's a pretty stupid thing to say, because gen 1 didn't have the most creative designs at all.
Take a look at a Pokedex, look at Voltorb, Magnemite, and maybe a few others and you'll see what I mean, unless you're biased to no extent.
If someone just keeps saying they find everything new they do with Pokemon uncreative, stupid, or anything like so, then actually stop bothering yourself with anything Pokemon and get over it. Not like the people that always say that stupid shit have any more creativity than the guys behind the games.
That little rant aside, yeah, hyped for this. Good to know that what I assumed was real. Which means I'm gonna get White 2.
Anyone else find the male trainer's hair to look weird? |
