| I'm trying to make a Roll expansion based on moves from Marvel vs. Capcom, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, and (of course) the Mega Man games. I have a moveset for the specials planned, but it needs work. Any ideas, guys? In the games she's been in, she's been depicted as a close ranged fighter when compared to the other playable characters in the game, even when you disregard the vs. Capcom series. She'll be one of the lighter characters, even lighter than Mega Man, due to her small HP bar in the vsC series, but her crouch will have a very small hit box, and her grabs will be devastating to emphasize her effectiveness as an up-close fighter. Her attacks come out fast, but are somewhat weak. Some of her most effective attacks will involve her broom. Specials: | Spoiler: | | | Neutral Special: Broom Swing Roll pulls out her broomstick and does a simple broom swing. By repeatedly tapping the attack button, she can do a repeatable two swing combo, similar to Mega Man Powered-Up. By holding down the attack button, her broom will charge like Mega Man's Buster, and she can run around while doing this. However, if she has it charged for too long, it will short circuit, dealing herself damage. If the button is repeatedly tapped while charging, the charge will be carried on to the combo until the button is no longer mashed, or until Roll is attacked. The longer the charge, the the longer the pause is between every two swings, but the stronger the swings get.
Side Special: Broom Jet She jets forward a short distance on her broom. Holding up or down as the attack starts causes her to go diagonally. She can cause damage either by ramming into her opponent or via the jet fire coming from the back of her broom. Similar to her air dash from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom. If used in midair, it can be canceled into her aeriels, and it won't leave her in a helpless fall.
Up Special: Spin Jump Based on her special move from Rockman Battle and Chase, she instantly spins around rapidly, creating a mini cyclone around her that lifts her 2/3rds as high as Mega Man's Up special. Can easily be steered left and right. Can perform aeriels afterwards.
Down Special: Eddie Call She quickly pulls out Eddie for a short time, parodying Peach's neutral special, and he tosses out a bouquet in a small arc (ala Mega Man 8 ). Roll gets super-armour while holding out Eddie. When the bouquet makes contact, it'll explode. If it hits someone, it'll also drop a random item. Most of the time, it leaves life energy pellets (already in SSF2 as “Food”), but sometimes it'll leave E-Tanks (rare), beam swords (rarer) or even the elusive Yashichi (mother-f*in' rarest), which will grant temporary speed and invincibility.
Final Smash: Rush Drill Rush appears, transforms into a drilling vehicle and Roll pilots him for a short period. Drill deals rapid damage. Although slow on the ground and hard to steer in midair, pressing either attack button will cause the Rush Drill to quickly jet forward a good distance, causing high knockback that could KO opponents. Can multi-jump via jets underneath. |
Also, someone suggested that I should put in more Tatsunoko vs. Capcom moves into her moveset, so I came up with these suggestions:

Besides, I don't want to solely rely on the Vs. Capcom series for moves. However, I'll try to give her a lot of the strengths and weaknesses that TvC gave her. |

| I did replace all of it with Tatsunoko, that was the best Roll. |

Well, it would be somewhat narrow minded to just stick to only one game for influence, right? I mean, some of Sonic's moves were based off of Sonic the Fighters, but they didn't ALL come from there. Mega Man also sports a diversely-influenced moveset as well, despite his appearance in MvC.
Besides, although Roll Splash was an excellent projectile and one of the best assists in TvC, it relies on the "trip/slip" mechanic which will not appear in SSF2. Therefore, I replaced it with another projectile, Eddie Call, because one trait that Roll has always had in the fighting games, despite her predominately close-ranged playstyle, is an excellent projectile (in MvC1&2, it was the Exploding Bouquet). |

Well no almost do it. Because Roll would push down her skirt so you couldn't see her panties, make it like in MvC where you can see them. |

Actually, I started as a pixel. Then I grew into a sprite, but I wanted to be a sprite that could reproduce, so I became a spriter. As soon as I picked up a harem I became a sprite sheet.

Yes, guys. Because that's the defining factor that people look for in a game: panties.
Seriously, though. I want to get a good moveset going before really working on sprites. (Also, she'll be using her classic dress, but she WILL hold down her dress. Also, keep in mind that there will be minors playing this game.)
Also, I want a moveset that everyone will enjoy, so I'm trying to make it diverse, yet balanced. I don't want her to be "too much Marvel" or "too much Tatsunoko". I just want people to see her as a fun to use character, because good gameplay should always come first. Heck, I might even make it so that she uses little to NONE of her vsCapcom moves. (I mean, it's not like Mega Man uses a lot of his vsCapcom moves, either.) |

The fun part? It is sometimes. Take out the panties, the jiggling, and the suggestive movements and there's be way less people playing quite a few games. Sex sells. |
